Marco Polo Hotels is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd; a Hong Kong-listed company with core business interests in property and investments in communications and container-terminal operations. Like the Italian explorer it is named after, Marco Polo Hotels believes travel is about discovery – be it of business practices and networks or places and people. Its roots are firmly in Asia, offering a hospitality experience that is warm, efficient, and distinctly Asian. After all, its owners, The Wharf Group, have been doing business in Asia since 1886.
Its hotels, located in key business and cultural centres in Asia/Pacific, offer a home for modern-day discoverers who want to get a feel for the places they are visiting and who want to make local contacts and networks in the cities they do business.
