The management contract signing ceremony for the hotel sector of Shui On Land’s integrated commercial and residential complex was held yesterday. Marco Polo Hotels will manage and operate the Foshan Lingnan Tiandi Hotel & Residence and it is scheduled to open its door at the fourth quarter of 2011. Mr Freddie Lee, Managing Director of Shui On Land and Mr Steve Kleinschmidt, President of Marco Polo Hotels were present to sign the contract.
Marco Polo Hotel & Residence Foshan Lingnan Tiandi is located in the city centre of Foshan, at the crossroad of Zumiao Road and Renmin Road. With a total area of 52,000 square metres, the hotel comprises of 391 hotel rooms and residence, plus a wedding hall, honeymoon suite, function rooms, club house, restaurants and a 3-storey shopping centre. The hotel & residence is built and designed to a 5-star standard with a unique Lingnan architectural design. The concept of taking wedding celebration as the theme of the Hotel & Residence also follows the culture of a heritage building in Foshan Lingnan Tiandi-- the Marriage House.
