Tiananmen Square literally means "Gate of Heavenly Peace" which is the large plaza square and rectangular in shape near the center of Beijing. Lying to the north of Tiananmen Square is Forbidden City, the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares.

Visit the spectacular Lama Temple built in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty, it is the largest and best-preserved lamasery in Beijing. Furthermore, this splendid temple combines various architectural styles of the Han.

The kingdoms and dynasties of China are known to all. Get a peek into how things were at that time, by visiting the ‘Summer Palace’. Located in the West of Haidan District, this has been the imperial park since 1750.

If you do not see the Great Wall in China, then the only other place you can see it from is the moon! A stone wall extending for fifteen hundred miles across northern China. Built to defend the Chinese border in ancient times, it has become a favorite destination for visitors to the country.
