Some of the interesting local attractions you would like to visit are: Witness Chinese Opera aficionados play music or martial arts guru give free lessons at the Ancient Lute Pavillion , also fondly known as ‘ Boya Terrace.’ It is located on the banks of Yuehu river. Situated on East Lake Road, it is the most famous and scenic body of water in Wuhan covering 33 square kilometres, making it the largest urban lake in China. Enveloped by various pavilions, museums and halls including the esteemed Wuhan University, it also has places to sunbathe, swim and fish. Get face to face with history at this museum which displays relics from the tomb of Marquis Yi Zeng and the famous 64 chime bells excavated from the tomb. Located at the Yanjiang Avenue directly across the hotel, this large park overlooks the famous Yangtze River. Open from 7 am to 9 pm and free admission, this is one riverside you would not want to miss. |
