The Five Mile Bridge is location at the ancient Anping Township of Jinjiang, because of the exact length of the bridge it was named “The Five-Mile Bridge” it is also known as the “Anping Bridge". Built in the Shaoxing period in the southern Song Dynasty, the bridge was the best stone sea port bridge in ancient China and the longest beam bridge in the world in the Middle Ages. Local government funds were received for the restoration of the bridge to maintain its past grandeur.
