Hong Kong SAR, China, 18 November 2022 – Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel invites guests to celebrate Christmas with an array of gourmet holiday experiences, including Italian dinners at Cucina, sumptuous buffets at Cafe Marco and festive meals at Lobby Lounge. Guests who plan ahead for their holiday gatherings can also enjoy 15 % early bird savings on designated menus.
Italian Celebrations at Cucina
Boasting dazzling views of Victoria Harbour, Forbes Travel Guide award-winning restaurant Cucina will see Chef de Cuisine Andrea Delzanno serving up a six-course Italian Set Dinner on 24 and 25 December. Guests can start the night with champagne and Poached Lobster Salad, Oscietra Caviar, Celery Root and Carrot Purée followed by Smoked Beef Consommé, Porcini Mushrooms Tortellini, Parsley and Fettuccine, Duck Confit Ragout, Liver Sauce, Shaved Black Truffle. The menu continues with two show-stopping main courses – the Halibut Fillet, Lobster Emulsion, Clams, Cucumber and Tomatoes Salsa and Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Purple Mashed Potato, Spinach Powder, Cherry Sauce. A Little Christmas Ball featuring raspberry ice cream and cream mousse inside a white chocolate sphere makes for the perfect dessert to end the feast. To elevate this dinner experience, guests can enjoy a five-glass wine pairing for an additional HK$680 per person.
Guests can also ring in 2023 with a six-course Set Dinner at Cucina on New Year’s Eve. The menu celebrates seasonal produce, with highlights such as the starter of Red Prawn Tartare, Avocado, Fennel, Oscietra Caviar and the main courses of Chilean Seabass Fillet, Sea Urchin, Squid Ink Sauce, Wasabi Foam and Wagyu Beef Fillet, Alaskan King Crab, Romanesco Purée, Hollandaise Sauce. The Mezze Maniche, Lobster, Cherry Tomato Sauce, Caviar is especially recommended by Chef Andrea and features al dente pasta that lap up the flavours of the concentrated lobster sauce. For dessert, the Dark Chocolate Dome, Raspberry Jelly, Hazelnut Crisp is a perfect finale to round off a festive year-end meal.
Cucina is also hosting a Christmas Brunch from 24-27 December with a selection of antipasti, Italian cold cuts, cheese, seafood, salads and cooked-to-order pastas. The signature Chef Andrea’s Duck Liver Burger is served at the table, and guests can also enjoy a fine selection of main dishes, including Tortellini Stuffed with Mushrooms, Creamy Spinach, Duck Liver Sauce and the festive Christmas Turkey. Meanwhile, Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Log Cake and Stollen are served at the Christmas dessert corner. To make the brunch even more enjoyable, guests can also enjoy free-flow Perrier-Jouët NV Champagne or Henriot Brut Rosé Champagne for an additional HK$428 per person.
Guests can enjoy 15% early bird savings on Cucina’s Italian Set Dinner on 24, 25 and 31 December 2022 with bookings made with 50% deposits on or before 11 December 2022.

Bountiful Festive Buffets at Cafe Marco
Guests can celebrate the holiday season by enjoying Cafe Marco’s festive buffets with family and friends. Alongside ocean-fresh seafood, including freshly shucked Oysters, Whole Boston Lobsters, Cooked Crayfish, Snow Crab Legs, Brown Crabs, Black Mussels, Whelks, Clams and Prawns, which are available on a rotational basis, the dinner buffet features festive favourites, such as Roasted Whole Turkey, Roasted OP Prime Rib, Duck Foie Gras Terrine and Duck Liver Mousse in Puff. Other delicacies include Roasted Lamb Rack with Rosemary, Seafood Lasagna, Braised Osso Buco, Steamed Whole Grouper Fish and Steamed Scallop with Vermicelli and Garlic. Festive sweets, such as Christmas Stollen, Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce, Christmas Cup Cakes and Festive Cookies, are also on offer.

Festive Set Dinners at Lobby Lounge
Lobby Lounge is offering Festive Set Dinners on the evenings of 24, 25 and 31 December. Guests can enjoy the traditional festive appetiser of Roasted Turkey with Potato and Green Apple Salad, Cranberry Sauce followed by the rich and creamy Gingered Pumpkin Soup with Crab Meat. For mains, guests can choose between the Grilled Tenderloin and Foie Gras, Oven-Baked Lamb Rack and Butter Lobster and Cod Fillet. For dessert, Christmas Pudding with Brandy Crème Anglaise, Chocolate Chestnut Yule Log, Strawberry Cake, Minced Fruit Pie, Cookie and Chocolate is served on Christmas, while the Grand Marnier Sabayon with Strawberries, Vanilla Apple Mousse, Hazelnut Chocolate Basket, Mango Ginger Mousse, Cookie and Chocolate is presented on New Year’s Eve to make the night all the more memorable.
