Hong Kong SAR, China, 5 May 2023 – This May and June, Cafe Marco presents a Lobster and Crab Dinner Buffet that features a spectacular selection of delicacies with the two shellfish as well as a variety of chilled fresh seafood. During these two months, guests can also indulge in a Chestnut Weekend Afternoon Tea Buffet.
Cafe Marco’s dinner buffet features fresh seafood, such as Fresh Seasonal Oysters, Boston Lobsters, Snow Crab Leg, Red Crab, Brown Crab, Mussels and Prawns. Lavish crab dishes are also served, including Wok-fried Crab with Ginger and Spring Onion, Baked Stuffed Crab Shell, Wok-fried Crab with Black Bean Sauce and Bell Peppers and others. Also recommended are the Lobster Thermidor and the Steamed Live Lobster, which is prepared fresh to order at the live cooking station and served with a rich mushroom and cheese cream sauce to enhance the oceanic flavours.
During weekends throughout May and June, Cafe Marco’s Pastry Chef Patrick See showcases an array of sweet treats made with chestnut. Chestnuts have a nutty and umami flavour that make them a popular ingredient for all kinds of desserts. The Vanilla Chestnut Meringue Tart, for example, consist of a crispy tart base topped with a dome of whipped chestnut cream, while the Chestnut Crème Brûlée features a balanced combination of nutty chestnut and milky cream. Another highlight is the Chestnut Blackberry Mousse Cake, which is light, creamy and refreshing with a delicate flavour. Also not-to-be-missed are the Chestnut Eclair, Candied Chestnut in Honey Syrup, Chestnut Chocolate Brownies, Japanese Azuki Kuri Kanten and other delicacies. Guests can also enjoy complimentary free-flow fresh fruit juices, coffee and tea for a cosy afternoon.
