Since 1987, EarthCheck has been the world’s leading scientific benchmarking, certification and advisory group for travel and tourism. By working alongside EarthCheck since 2017, Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel has made every effort to implement practices on environmental and social sustainability, aligning with the Marco Polo values of corporate citizenship, continuously improving the environment and communities’ performance. EarthCheck assesses the hotel along other industry leaders, with results showing greenhouse gas emissions per guest night ratings has been reduced by 10% compared to last year, placing our hotel’s performance above average.
