Hong Kong SAR, China, 3 February 2023 – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and guests can celebrate their love and spoil their significant other with an intimate five-course Italian set dinner at Cucina. Guests can also relish in exquisite wine pairings for the ultimate romantic evening set against the city’s glittering skyline.
Meticulously crafted by Italian Chef de Cuisine Andrea Delzanno, the romantic feast kicks off with two glasses of Welcome Champagne followed by a starter of Lobster Jelly, Sea Urchin, Cauliflower Purée, Oscietra Caviar. Bursting with the flavours of the sea, this vibrant dish features a sweet and smooth cauliflower purée that perfectly complements the lobster and sea urchin, while caviar adds a luxurious touch. It’s followed by the Linguine with Bell Pepper Juice, Marinated Scampi, Paprika, Lime – a delicious dish that combines pasta with delicate scampi and bright citrus.
Couples can then toast to their love with the indulgent Pink Champagne and Rose Sorbet before they are offered a choice between two mains: Baked Halibut Fillet, Beetroot Crust, Sautéed Clams, Romanesco Purée or Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Seared Duck Liver, Mixed Berry Sauce, Chanterelles, Black Truffle. The former features a crunchy beetroot crust and creamy romanesco purée for a complex layering of taste and texture, while the latter is the perfect choice for meat aficionados who love strong and rich flavours.
Guests can end their exquisite dinner on a sweet note with the decadent dessert of Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse, Passion Fruit Sauce. With two mousse desserts making up the shape of a whole heart, this sweet treat is the perfect way for guests to express their love to their special someone.
The intimate five-course Italian set dinner menu is priced at HK$2,188* for two and will be served during 11-14 February 2023. For an additional HK$580* per person, guests can enjoy four glasses of the finest wines selected by Cucina’s Sommelier to pair with the menu for the ultimate romantic experience. To extend the romance, guests can also bring home a bottle of Charles de Cazanove champagne at a special price of HK$520.
To celebrate the special occasion, guests who dine at Cucina during 11 – 14 February will receive a gift card which entitles the guests to enjoy a complimentary Abeille Royale Hand Massage Service and a Fragrance Kit upon completion of service at designated Guerlain boutique or counter.
