The Chinese Archaeology Museum, a national institution under the Chinese Academy of History, takes the form of a "Window onto Civilisation" with a warm beige stone façade and bronze accents. Inside, it houses treasures such as the Turquoise-Dragon-Shaped Artefact and the Ivory Cup Inlaid with Turquoise, spanning from the Palaeolithic to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Visitors can explore archaeological discoveries first-hand and engage in educational activities — an experience that has made the museum a new cultural landmark on Beijing's Central Axis.
