Beijing Lvdagun is a traditional Qing dynasty spring delicacy. Named after donkeys rolling in dust, it features a glutinous rice roll coated in soybean flour and filled with red bean paste, creating a soft, chewy texture with a subtle sweetness. Made with adzuki beans and jujubes, it is now one of old Beijing’s most familiar desserts and a beloved local snack.
