Yundang Lake: Fish and egrets dance with the waves

A prime birdwatching spot in Xiamen, this waterfront setting comes alive at high tide, when fish and shrimp are swept into the shallows and attract egrets and night herons to feed. Visitors can watch—and photograph—the dramatic sight of herons competing for fish from a 110-metre birdwatching corridor and a series of viewing windows.
