The China National Arts and Crafts Museum, a cultural sanctuary born from the national institution of fine arts, crafts and intangible heritage, echoes the Forbidden City's Hall of Supreme Harmony in form—conceived as a "suspended treasure chest" with bronze grilles inspired by traditional latticework.
