  1. What are the check-in and check-out times at Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong?

    Our standard check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon).

  2. Can I request an early check-in or late check-out, and is there a charge?

    Yes, late check-out can be arranged subject to availability. A half-day room charge applies for check-outs until 6:00 PM, and a full-day charge applies for departures after 6:00 PM. Please contact the Front Desk for arrangements.

  3. What is the minimum age to check in as the primary guest at Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong?

    The minimum age to check in as the primary registered guest is 18 years old.

  4. What identification documents are required at check-in?

    All guests are required to present a valid passport upon check-in. For residents of Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China, a valid National ID card is also acceptable.

  5. Can a third party check in on behalf of the guest?

    No. For security and privacy, the registered guest must be present with a valid ID and the credit card used for booking (if applicable) to complete the check-in process.

  6. Does Gateway Hotel, Hong Kong offer pre-arrival checkin?

     All guests must complete check-in in person at our Front Desk upon arrival. For any special requests, please feel free to contact us in advance.

  7. What should I do if I arrive before the official check-in time?

    Please proceed to the Front Desk to register your arrival. If your room is not yet ready, our Concierge will gladly store your luggage, and we will notify you as soon as your room is prepared.

  8. If my flight departs late in the evening, can I extend my checkout?

    Yes, late check-out may be available, subject to an additional fee and room availability. Please contact the Front Desk in advance to request an extension.
